Our Background & Philosophy

Rusophia was born out of a simple idea: providing the highest level of online Russian language lessons. We specialise in teaching Russian as a foreign language while tending all the possible barriers and difficulties that a foreign student might face in the learning process. We are a team of highly educated and experienced teachers of similar academic qualifications and a shared desire to teach efficiently through tested teaching methods and utilising online tools. Specifically, our approach aims to provide a rounded understanding of the structure of the Russian language, so that our students not just memorise words and phrases but have an in-depth understanding of the Russian language and culture.

Do you provide material for your lessons?

Yes, we provide all the material needed without any expenses from the students' perspective.
Can I transfer my sessions between months?

No, you have a certain amount of lessons each month, and you are able to use them only during that month.
Can I reschedule a lesson?

Yes, you can. Although, keep in mind that there is a 12-hour policy. Which means that you can reschedule a lesson only 12 hours or more prior lesson.
Are the lessons online?

Yes, our lessons are ONLY online.
On what platform are the lessons conducted?

The lessons are conducted on Google Meet. You will be provided with a unique classroom link, which you will use every time.
What is the duration of our lessons?

The duration of our lessons are 50 minutes per lesson.
